West Ham United have reportedly secured a deal to sign French defender Jean-Clair Todibo from Ligue 1 club Nice. The 24-year-old centre-back has been a key figure for Nice since joining in 2021, making over 100 appearances for the club.
However, according to various sources, Todibo is hesitant to join West Ham and prefers a move to Italian giants Juventus instead. Juventus are said to have expressed their interest in signing Todibo this summer, and the player is believed to be keen on joining the Turin club.
West Ham are keen to strengthen their defense ahead of the upcoming season, and Todibo was seen as a top target. However, the club may now have to look elsewhere if Todibo's heart is set on a move to Italy.
