Hung Cao Rallies Republicans at Lynchburg Campaign Stop

Cao Focuses on Inflation, Immigration, and Education

Hung Cao, the Republican candidate for Virginia's 7th Congressional District, rallied supporters at a campaign stop in Lynchburg on Tuesday, promising to address the key issues facing the district and the nation.

Cao highlighted the rising cost of living as a top concern for voters, pledging to support policies that will rein in inflation and make it easier for families to afford basic necessities.

"We need to get inflation under control," Cao said. "Families are struggling to make ends meet, and we can't afford to keep printing money and driving up prices."

Cao also emphasized the need to secure the border and enforce immigration laws, arguing that these measures are essential for protecting national security and preserving the rule of law.

"We need to secure our border and enforce our immigration laws," Cao said. "We can't have a situation where people are coming into our country illegally, taking advantage of our social services, and driving down wages for American workers."

Cao also touched on the importance of education, pledging to support policies that will improve the quality of education and make it more accessible for all students.

"We need to invest in our children and our future by supporting policies that will improve the quality of education and make it more accessible for all students," Cao said.

Cao, a former police officer and businessman, is facing off against incumbent Democratic Rep. Abigail Spanberger in the November election.
