Snow Patrol Gary Lightbody Johnny Mcdaid

Snow Patrol's Comeback Trail

After a six-year hiatus, Snow Patrol are back with a new album and a renewed sense of purpose.

The band's frontman, Gary Lightbody, says that the time away has been good for them.

"We needed a break," he says. "We'd been touring non-stop for 10 years and we were all starting to get a bit burnt out. We needed some time to regroup and to rediscover our love of music."

The break did the band a world of good. They came back refreshed and with a new sense of purpose. Their new album, "Wildness," is their best work in years.

"This album is a return to our roots," says Lightbody. "It's got all the elements that made us fall in love with music in the first place, but it's also got a new maturity and sophistication to it."

The album's lead single, "What If This Is All the Love You Ever Get?," is a beautiful ballad that showcases Lightbody's songwriting skills.

"It's a song about love and loss," says Lightbody. "It's about the fear of losing someone you love and the realization that you need to cherish every moment you have with them."

"Wildness" is a must-listen for fans of Snow Patrol and for anyone who loves good music. It's an album that will stay with you long after you've finished listening to it.

Snow Patrol are back and they're better than ever.

The band is set to embark on a world tour in support of "Wildness." They will be playing at the following venues:
